Could you be a Match Official?

Wales Rugby League is on the look out for new Match Officials. Whether you are an experienced official, absolute beginner, retired or junior player or supporter of the sport, we have a place for you. Refereeing is the perfect way to keep fit over the summer months, and with the inclusion of the Celtic Crusaders in Super League there are also high-level opportunities for Welsh referees.

The Welsh Rugby League are holding a number of courses over the next few months, these courses are the initial qualification and will prepare you to referee junior and lower-level games (where appropriate).

Price: £25 (this includes a years membership of the Wales Rugby League Match Officials Society which means you are insured to officiate, a community kit and lunch on the day)

: 1 day

Date and Venues:
Sunday 25th April - Blackwood RFC, Glan-yr-Afon Park, Blackwood - 10am - 6pm
Sunday 16th May- Glamorgan Wanderers RFC - 10am - 6pm

Ages: 12 years and above
