Demons v Tigers photo by Ian Lovell

Torfaen took the lead on six but Jamie Iles got a try back for Cardiff and another at 20 minutes. A penalty for Tigers brought the score to 16-8 at half time

Daz White kicked a field goal before Torfaen came back with two tries and a penalty.

The Demons scored an unconverted try before Gareth Jones kicked the penalty for the one point win.

At Glan-yr-Afon Park on Wednesday night the Bulldogs picked up their first conference points.  They took a commanding 38-6 lead before the Valley Cougars mounted a second half

comeback with a final score of 38-28. Recently announced Wales A squad members David James and John Breakingbury both picked up hat-tricks.

A first half hat trick from Nathan Strong helped the Blue Bulls to an emphatic 58-4 win over the West Wales Sharks at Porthcawl RFC.

Bulls second row Anthony Isaac opened the scoring in the second in minute and he was soon followed over the line by Michael John and Ryan Morgan.

Sharks hit back with the best try of the game, a length of the field effort by centre Mark Cook.

An early second half try from Steve Hearne put Bridgend further in front and with Neil Dixon and Lloyd O’Connor adding further scores in the baking sun and the Blue Bulls leading 58-4 the teams agreed to end the game early.

The game between the Valley Miners and Aberavaon fighting Irish game has been postponed so check back on the fixtures page for the rescheduled date.
