It is with regret that Wales Rugby League announce the withdrawal of the Pembrokeshire Panthers from the Picton Jones and Costley and Partners Premier Welsh Conference.
The Panthers, due to play out of Tenby RFC, were a new addition to this years conference, but due to a lack of sufficient pre-season preparation, it was decided
to withdraw now and allow the remaining teams' fixtures to be re-arranged and not cause too much disruption.
Executive Chairman Mark Rowley said: "It is a shame that one of our three new
|
teams has had to withdraw this early inthe season, however, we are looking at it as a postponement of the formation of a team in the area, and we will be working with individuals involved in the Panthers with the intention of creating a team in the area next year."
The Western Conference's fixtures have been re-arranged accordingly, and can be found online here.
