Cardiff Demons beat Newport Titans 32-28 in a thriller at Pill Harriers to top the Welsh Conference East.
Kirk Johnson ran in for an early Newport try before Neil Thomas equalised on 22 minutes.
Both teams traded tries either side of half time before the Demons scored two tries to take the lead. Newport fought back to take a 6 point lead with less than 10 minutes to go.
The Demons however scored two tries in the last minute to grab the win.
The other game in the East between the

Valley Cougars and the Torfaen Tigers as postponed.
In the West Aberavon overcame the loss of a number of players who are on international duties to defeat a spirited West Wales Sharks 16-50.
The Irish settled quicker scoring first but the Sharks responded with a Daniel Griffiths try.
Aberavon responded with two tries and went in to the break 22-12 up.
The second half saw the Fighting Irish' experience running out 16-50.
The Blue Bulls fought hard for their 34-30 win at Swansea Valley Miners.
Bridgend took a commanding lead with tries from Rhys Webb, Simon Mustoe and Matthew Hutchings before the teams exchanged tries to go in 22-6 at the break.
The Miners score 4 unanswered tries before the Blue Bulls scored two tries in the last five minutes to snatch the win.
