Martin Halls Wales will face a stern test in their World Cup qualifier warm up against Papua New Guinea at the Brewery Field on 28 October.
The Kumuls, coached by ex Wigan star Adrian Lam, recently overturned a 20-0 deficit to draw 24-24 with the Australian prime minister's XIII so Wales will need to be at their very best to repeat their 22-8 win in 2000.
Wales Rugby League Chairman Mark Rowley said 'Papua New Guinea have

already qualified for the World Cup so this is just the preparation that Wales will need to get themselves ready for the game against Scotland the following weekend'.
Wales will travel to Glasgow after the warm up hoping that they can avoid the repechage round by defeating Scotland on home turf and qualifying automatically for next years World Cup in Australia.
The crucial game will be played at Glasgow Hawks RFC kicking of at 2:30pm and will be shown on Sky TV along with the other World Cup qualification games.
Tickets are available now for the Papua New Guinea game and can be purchased in advance from our online shop or by post from the Wales Rugby League offices.
