The Bridgend Blue Bulls consolidated their position at the top of the Co-operative Welsh Conference Premier with a hard fought 32-20 win against the Cardiff Demons.
The Blue Bulls took an early 14-0 lead before the teams traded tries to leave the score 20-4 at half time. The spoils were shared in the second half seeing the Blue Bulls eventually winning 32-20.
The battle of the Gwent valleys saw the Tigers experience give them a 30-24 win in a feisty encounter at the Memorial

ground.
The Bulldogs took an early lead from Wales A international David James before the Tigers responded with three tries from Tim Tillings,Gavin Jenkins amd Jamie Williams. Blackwood answered to level the score at 18 a piece.
The Tigers then stretched the lead with Jason Hill and Chris Baldwin before the Bulldogs picked up a consolation try.
The Steelers picked up their second win in as many weeks with an impressive first half performance winning 34-16.
Early tries from Ceri Penharwood, Peter Smignalia, Rhodri Milsom and Adam Richards sealed the win
In the final game of the round the Valley Cougars kept their push for top spot going with a 32-28 win against the Titans at Pil Harriers.
