Forty eight unanswered second half points saw the Blue Bulls maintain their place at the head of the Welsh division as Kevin Ellis’ men turned on the style.

Torfaen battled hard in the first half, Jason Hill and Phil Marsh among their try scorers as they trailed 32-21 at the break.

In the second period it was one way traffic as Ellis put his experienced men on from the bench, full back John Williams and Dan Shaw grabbing a brace of tries each while second row Paul Morgan claimed a fine hat trick.
