Newport Titans ran in the first ever 100-pointer in the Welsh Conference, beating a severely under strength Swansea Valley Miners 106-16.
Swansea had nine first choice players out but that shouldn't take any credit away from an awesome Newport performance as they ran in 19 tries.
Newport took the lead in the first five minutes through Ross Palmer before Swansea hit back through tries from Gethin Daniel and Steve John to give them the lead for the only time in the match.

Ovey (2), Owen Jones, Mark Wheeler (2), Scott Hirene and Ben Morris made it 44-10 at half-time. Neil McKim kicked seven conversions.
Owen Jones (2), Ross Palmer (2), Mike Pugsley, Mark Wheeler, Pete Ovey, Kirk Johnson and Richard Davies all added second half tries while conversions were put over by Ovey, Palmer, Johnson, Davies and McKim.
Swansea had the last word with a Christian Roets try and a Simon Bevan conversion – his second of the day - but it was just consolation in a bad day at the office for the Miners.
