An excellent ball-handling display from Cardiff Demons gave them a 44-18 win over Torfaen Tigers, a team they never beaten in the past.
Miles Davies gave Cardiff Demons the lead in the fourth minute. After a good drive from Graham Hughes, Davies snuck in under the sticks from acting half-back. Gareth Jones converted.
Torfaen equalised ten minutes later. Damien Hudd with a try in the corner and Matt Entwhistle successfully kicking a tricky conversion.
Gareth Jones gave the Demons the advantage again in the 19th, beautifully swerving past three before placing under

the sticks. Matt Jackson added a third just three minutes later.
Damien Hudd got one back for Torfaen following a debatable off-side decision before Gareth Jones ran in for two skilful tries in five minutes, converting both to give the Demons a three-try cushion at half-time.
Andre Boon slipped under to give the Demons a four-try advantage. Tigers hit back through Steve Mayley then two quick tries - a 75-metre run from Austin Saunders and one from debutante Adam King made it 44-14.
Tigers had the last say. A try by Jamie Juene in the corner made the final score 44-18.
