Aberavon Fighting Irish need to claim two wins in four days to clinch the Western Division of the Welsh Conference Premier after hammering Swansea Valley Miners 66-18 at Little Warren on Saturday.
The Fighting Irish face West Wales Sharks on Wednesday at New Dock Stars and should they win that, the clash with Bridgend Blue Bulls on Saturday at Little Warren becomes a winner takes all game.

Two wins for the Fighting Irish will take them onto equal points with the Blue Bulls so points difference would then come into consideration. Aberavon are currently 100 points behind Bridgend so they will need a large win against West Wales to be confident against Bridgend on Saturday – a match that is part of what is being dubbed “Wales’ Biggest Weekend of Rugby League”.
Lee Rowland led the way for Aberavon with a hat-trick of tries and also kicked three conversions while Billy Lavis and Dai Felton each scored a brace. Christian Roets, Kyle Roberts and Andrew Jenkins were the Swansea try scorers with Dane Clancey converting them all.
