The match at Gloucester was played in dreadful conditions. The pitch was in a terrible state after a week of torrential rain and with more rain hammering down throughout the entire 80 minutes, the match was littered with mistakes.

the try and captain Chris Coombs kicked the tricky the conversion to complete the scoring.
This gives the Trefforest-based university two away wins out of two and a great morale booster for their first home match of the season – a local derby against UWIC at Tyn-y-Wern, Trefforest Estate. “We’re looking forward to the UWIC match,” said Darren Jones. “The lads will be doing extra training this week and we aim to bit fit and ready to beat the men from Cardiff.”
